Biography from the American Architects and Buildings database

New York and California architect John Galen Howard did participate in a few T-Square Club/Philadelphia Chapter, AIA annual exhibitions. A product of both MIT and the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Howard moved from New York to California in 1901 in order to work on the Hearst Plan for the University of California, Berkeley.
