Arthur H. C. Behr first appears in the Philadelphia city directories in 1906, when he is cited as a draftsman, with no office address noted. By 1908 he has risen to architect and remains so throughout his term in the city directories. Unfortunately no office address appears for him during that time, but 416 Walnut Street does appear as his office address in the Philadelphia Real Estate Record and Builders Guide.
