Malcom McLeod was a master builder elected to The Carpenters' Company in 1796. An statement on his death in a newspaper says McLeod was a native of Scotland and died at the age of 80. This puts his birth year around 1761. He lived the majority of his adult life at 154 Race street. He was first listed in the city directory for that address in 1800.
