This short-lived firm occupied offices at 1414 South Penn Square in Philadelphia and represented the talents of W. L. Plack and the surprising Louis R. Walters, whose former occupational listing had noted him as the Assistant U. S. Treasurer. Nonetheless, Walters & Plack do enjoy a successful, if brief, flourish in Philadelphia, where, according to the Philadelphia Real Estate Record and Builders Guide, they designed a hotel in Ambler, PA (1893), an Odd Fellows Hall in Tamaqua, PA (1894), and the Delaware County Republican building in Media, PA (1894).
