Chicago, IL, graduated from MIT in 1876 and then worked for several Boston offices, including Peabody & Stearns (1879-1881). Moving to Chicago in 1882, he worked with Henry Ives Cobb, but launched his own office in 1889. His major partnership was with Alfred H. Granger (1898 - 1910). After Granger left for Philadelphia in 1910, Frost continued to practice independently.
