Born: 11/20/1874

Born in New York City, Edward Necarsulmer attended the School of Architecture at Columbia University, earning his Ph.B. in 1896. He followed that with four years at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris (1898 - 1902), using the McKim Traveling Scholarship to support his extensive travel during this time. When he returned to the United States, he organized his own firm, but by 1926 he was in the partnership of Necarsulmer & Lehlmbach, an office which endured through 1931. When that partnership dissolved, Necarsulmer returned to independent practice and retired in 1942.
