Born: 9/10/1886

Born in Montclair, NJ, to Grandison V. and Carrie Orinda (Frear) Bartlett, W. Orrin Bartlett gained most of his architectural training with Jersey City architect Hugh Roberts with whom he remained for 10 years before taking and passing the architectural registration examination in 1908 and establishing his own office on Broad Street in Newark, NJ.

Bartlett joined the AIA in 1919.
