Born: 10/13/1887, Died: 1970

Born in Lancaster, PA, where he would later establish his architectural firm, Henry Y. Shaub attended Franklin and Marshall Military Academy and Bordentown Military Academy before entering the Carnegie Institute of Technology in 1906. After leaving Carnegie in 1909, he worked for various local architects and established an independent firm in 1912. Among the works cited in his 1962 American Architects Directory listing are: Shaub Store and Office Building (Lancaster, 1929), Lancaster County National Bank (1936), Groff Funeral Home (Lancaster, 1950).

Shaub joined the AIA in 1926 and became a fellow in 1950.
