Harvey B. Weldon appears in the Philadelphia city directories as an architect from 1918 to 1935/36. Through most of that time he resided on Olney Avenue in Philadelphia but maintained an office at 10 South 18th Street (1921-1922), 1627 Sansom (1924), 1817 Callowhill (1925-1935). Although nothing has surfaced for Weldon's biography, his list of citations from the Philadelphia Real Estate Record and Builders Guide indicates a bustling practice, which included a surprising number of garages, as well as a foundry for Savills Sons (635-39 North Watts Street, 1922) and the Dabis Buick Company (312-16 West Chelten Avenue, 1923).
