The master builder Jesse Williamson, who appears in Philadelphia city directories in the 1790s with a residence at 333 South Second Street, was elected to The Carpenters' Company in 1798 and died in 1852. In the 1790s he may have been in partnership with the house carpenter David Flickwir.
