Born: 10/31/1902, Died: 1/1973

Darwin H. Urffer was born in Philadelphia and earned his Bachelors of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania in 1925, followed by the M.Arch in 1926. He won the Woodman Scholarship and Alfred Spayd Brooke Prize and joined the office of Paul P. Cret in 1926, remaining there past Cret's death when the firm was reorganized as Harbeson, Hough, Livingston & Larson. When the Book of the School was published in 1934 he noted himself as a "Critic in Design" for the T-Square Club.
