Born: 3/22/1896, Died: 1/1975

Roy Ruhnka was born in Osceola, Nebraska, and earned his Bachelors in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania in 1923, adding the Masters in 1924. From 1923 to 1936 he was an assistant professor of design at the University of Pennsylvania in the School of Fine Arts.

Ruhnka's Philadelphia city directory listings indicate that his occupation is teacher (not architect), and his brief citation in Who Was Who in American Art notes him as a painter.
