Born in Mechanicsburg, PA, Miller Isaac Kast early his Certificate in Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania in 1900. He would establish his architectural office in Harrisburg, PA and serve as a consulting architect for the Pennsylvania State Board of Education.
Kast joined the AIA in 1909.
