Born: 11/11/1908, Died: 12/24/1988 Paul T. d'Entremont was born in Pubnico, Nova Scotia, and left for Boston when he was eighteen. He began his professional training in the 1930s at M.I.T.'s School of Engineering. After moving to Philadelphia in the late 1930s, he also took classes with the T-Square Club. In 1946 he established a partnership with Dominique Berninger; they were joined soon after by G. Harold Haag. The firm became Haag & d'Entremont in 1950, after Berninger's death, and continued until 1970, when both Harold Haag and Paul d'Entremont established independent practices. During the 1970s, d'Entremont worked in association with his son, Peter; a significant aspect of their practice was solar design.D'Entremont achieved emeritus status in the AIA in 1981.
