A Percy H. Wood studied architecture at the University of Pennsylvania for four years, but apparently did not receive a degree. According to the Book of the School this is Percy Hooling Wood, who matriculated with the Class of 1911; but according to the University of Pennsylvania Alumni Catalogue (1917) this is Percy Hollinshead Wood of the Class of 1910. The biography for Percy Wood noted in the 1917 catalogue states that he is an architect with the Architectural Service Corporation, with an office at 140 North 6th Street in Philadelphia. The mystery about Percy Wood only becomes more difficult when we attempt to associate him with classmate Andrew Borzner in Borzner & Wood. Since various Percy H. Woods appear in the Philadelphia city directories from 1906 (as a student) through 1914, it is impossible at this time to be sure that this is the correct Percy Wood. After 1914 Percy H. Wood disappears from the city directories.
