Formed in 1945, Bishop & Wright was the partnership of Robert F. Bishop and John W. Wright. The firm continued until 1951, when Bishop formed a new partnership with Newcomb Montgomery. Montgomery & Bishop considered themselves to be successors to the earlier firm.
