Charles L. Hillman & Son represents the work of Charles L. Hillman and his son Charles S. Hillman, who occupied offices at 807 Provident Building from 1912 to 1915, and then 400 Chestnut Street from 1916 to 1930. Project references for this firm often appeared under just the elder Hillman's name in the Philadelphia Real Estate Record and Builders Guide.
