Died: 1798

Joseph Clark was a master builder and a founder of the Friendship Carpenters Company in 1769. When the Friendship Company and The Carpenters' Company merged in 1786, he became a member of The Company.

Architectural drawings held by the Maryland Historical Society for Wye Hall, near Queenstown, MD, are signed "Jos. Clark, invt & delint".
