The only child of William M. and Kathryn A. Clark, William MacKenzie Clark, Jr. was born in Philadelphia. He studied architecture at Drexel Institute in the mid 1930s and during World War II, saw service in the U.S. Army.
While little is known of his career, Clark joined the national AIA, 1962; by 1972, he was employed in the office of Harbeson, Hough, Livingston & Larson.
