Born: c. 1866, Died: 1889

J. Howard Spruance first appears in Philadelphia city directories as a student in 1886. By 1888 he has been transformed into a draftsman. He is first mentioned in the Minutes of the T-Square Club in 1887 and becomes a junior member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the AIA in June 1888. At the T-Square Club meeting of 3 March 1889 his death is announced.
