The office of Bissell, Sinkler & Tilden is a short-lived variation on the Bissell & Sinkler firm, to which Marmaduke Tilden has been added. Tilden had begun work in the office in 1912, but his name was formally added to the firm in October, 1913. The work of the partnership does not appear to change radically during Tilden's association; therefore, it is difficult to attribute specific change to him. During his association, the types of projects ordinarily listed by Bissell & Sinkler continue: residences, fraternity houses, hospitals.
