Although James S. Warner died in 1914, Edmund C. Evans continued to use his name on the firm masthead. In fact, the office name continued in Philadelphia city directory listings through 1925. Evans & Warner continued the tradition of previous Evans firms by concentrating on residential design, chiefly in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
