Albert V. Fisher graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with his B.S. in Architecture in 1918. By 1919 he appears in the Philadelphia city directories as an architect, and he continues as such through the 1935/36 city directory. However, throughout this time no separate office address is cited. From information in the Rankin & Kellogg collection at The Athenaeum of Philadelphia, it has been discovered that Fisher was employed by that firm in 1924 and worked on the design of the Chalfonte Hotel and Haddon Hall in Atlantic City, NJ.
