This New York firm reflects the work of Napoleon LeBrun (1821-1901) and sons Pierre (1846-1924) and Michel (1857-1913). As official architects for the New York City Fire Department, the firm designed a number of fire stations in New York; but perhaps their greatest claim to fame was the contribution to early twentieth-century skyscraper design, reflected in their work for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.
