A native of Wilmington, DE, Thomas F. Mulrooney graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with his B.S. in Architecture in 1921; and by September, 1923 he and classmate Raymond Gleeson had established Gleeson & Mulrooney, a firm which specialized in projects for the Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Diocese of Wilmington.
