Evans S. Mucklow received his Certificate in House Construction from Drexel Institute's evening program in 1906 and is subsequently listed in the Philadelphia city directories from 1907 to 1908 as a draftsman and from 1909 to 1935/36 as an architect. He continues in Philadelphia telephone books from 1936 to 1943 as an architect. In the 1935/36 city directory Mucklow lists himself as vice-president of Frank E. Hahn, Inc, a firm with which he had had a long affiliation.
