Born: c. 1733, Died: 1774

George Plim (Plym) was an early member of The Carpenters' Company who first appears in the extant records on April 19, 1770, where it is recorded that "haveing some ago desired to have his name discontinued as a Member, now Attended the Compy mett, & requested that he might be reinstated, which being Considered, it was agree'd...." In association with Joseph Govett, Jr. he erected the "frontispiece" and doors of Carpenters' Hall in 1773 under the direction of Thomas Nevell.
