Karl F. Otto appears as either architect or draftsman in the Philadelphia city directories from 1913 to 1935/36. His office address in 1922 was at 3 North 19th Street; from 1925 to 1929 he was at 1828 Arch Street, from 1930 to 1935/36 at 2240 North Broad Street. By 1946 at least Otto had relocated to Upper Darby, PA.
Although it is clear from citations gleaned from the Philadelphia Real Estate Record and Building News that Otto created a specialty in both apartment buildings and housing operations, nothing has been found regarding his biography, education, and office experience.
