The partnership of MacCollin & Fast maintained an office at 1001 Chestnut Street. In a request to be included in the competition for the First Baptist Church on South 17th Street, they stated "In regard to our firm's experience and standing we would ask that you refer to any real estate man of prominence with whom you may be in touch . . . " Although MacCollin & Fast were not successful in their quest for the First Baptist commission, they did design a number of alterations to office spaces, as well as residences and at least one church (St. Patricks Church, 20th and Locust streets, 1897).
