Frank Curry Miller is listed first as a draftsman and then an architect in the Philadelphia city directories from 1894 to 1902. Through most of that time he is listed with Hiram A. Miller & Son, a building and contracting firm with offices in the Betz Building. Since the Millers also shared a residence, it is likely that this was the family business.
