This office was established by architects Frederick A. Muhlenberg and civil engineer John Yerkes, Sr. in Reading, PA, as a successor to Frederick A. Muhlenberg's single-name office. Like Muhlenberg Brothers, the firm developed a specialty in school and public building design.
