George K. Heebner, Sr., posted an ad in the 1927 Philadelphia city directory (p.94), noting that he is a contractor working out of 1231 Vine Street. According to his city directory listings, Heebner was capable of handling bricklaying, plastering, cementing, tin and slag roofing, steel metal, heaters, etc. By 1930 George Heebner, Jr., has begun to appear as a draftsman for John B. Thomson and by the publication of the 1935/36 city directory, George, Sr., has disappeared, but George, Jr., remains.
