Junior W. Everhard was born in Sioux Falls, SD, the son of John Henry Everhard. He attended Hiram College (B.S., 1913), the Carnegie Institute of Technology (B.S. Arch., 1923) and the University of Pennsylvania, where he completed a B. Arch. in 1924 after receiving advanced standing. Everhard worked in several architecture firms in the 1910s and 1920s, including Paul Cret's (1923-1924), before founding his own firm in Cleveland, OH in 1927. Everhard joined the national AIA in 1937 and was named to emeritus status by 1962. He was a member of the Cleveland Chapter, serving as secretary in 1956-1957.
