In the 1892 Boyd's Directory for Reading, PA, Edward K. Mull advertised (on page 469), that he had "30 Years Experience/Sketches, Designs, Plans, Elevations, Details, and Specifications Furnished on Reasonable Terms." Accompanying this declaration is an illustration for a residence, certainly an indication of the kind of work with which Mull was most comfortable. Citations to his work, found in the Philadelphia Real Estate Record and Builders Guide appear as early as 1887 and continue through 1893. His last notation in the Hendricks Commercial Directory appears in 1906.
