A long-time employee of Louis I. Kahn, Galen Schlosser was educated at the University of Pennsylvania where he received a degree in Architecture in 1936.
Schlosser worked on several of Kahn's best known works including the Margaret Esherick House in Chestnut Hill and the Salk Institute of Biological Studies in La Jolla, California.
Examples of his independent work include a series of houses located on Gypsy Lane in Philadelphia.
