Collection Description

The bulk of the collection comprises architectural drawings and photographs related to 19 projects by Theophilus P. Chandler and 1 project for Chandler as client. Some projects are notable for personal associations in Chandler's life. The collection also contains a small number of personal photographs and travel sketches. It contains no office files, correspondence or materials related to architectural education. All holdings related to Chandler's commissions for the Philadelphia & Reading Railroad Co. are found in the Philadelphia & Reading Railroad Collection.
