Collection Description

This collection comprises 5 color slides taken in May 1949 documenting several study trips taken by members of the "Study Team" of the Israel Housing Survey Committee. The Committee was formed to study Israel's housing needs and to make concrete proposals for the erection of low-cost housing. These slides are from the collection of Mr. I.E. Millstone, a prominent St. Louis based engineer and contractor and member of the "study team."
