Description: View showing the house owned by Jacob Graff in which Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Signage covers the building advertising current tenants, including B. Crawford's wholesale retail fashionable clothing emporium; William Hicks, tailor; William Brown, clothing; and D.E. Thompson's Book and Job Printing Office. Also shows adjacent businesses, including William Jordan's Shoe Warehouse at 232 Market Street(pre-consolidation). The building was razed circa 1883.
