MARC Description:
While drawing ZAB482*001 has been given to "Zantzinger & Borie", the firm name was changed to "Borie & Smith" in 1951, per the Biographical dictionary of Philadelphia architects, p.85. The presence of the "Zantzinger & Borie" name in the title block probably indicates use of old reprinted drawing sheets, without changing the name form. Borie & Smith drawings not listed in Laverty. Set includes two drawings number 482-1 which have unique images. One482-1 drawing is dated June 1958, while most other drawings show dates of 1955 or 1956. Drawings BOS482*002-*003 have seal and signature of A.T. Smith. Drawings BOS482*004-*009 have seal stamp of J. Edward Hutchinson and stamp of Moody & Hutchison. Drawings BOS482*010-*013 have seal stamps of Chester I. Duncan & Chest I. Duncan, Jr.
