"A 2 1/2 story stone Shingle Style dwelling with Tudor detailing featuring a stone ground floor, an open 1st floor porch, a large 2 story front gable, stucco and timbering on the second floor, a simple portecochere on the north elevation and a large turret on the southwest corner. Alterations occurred in 1901, 1927, 1946 (James G. Durham, architect) and 1956. A 2-story stone stable was constructed in 1889 and altered in 1898 and 1960."
