The Philadelphia Bridge Approach from Franklin Square gives an excellent view of the width of the bridge, 125 feet, and the height of its towers.

Traffic across the bridge approximately 20,000,000 cars yearly, moves over a 6 lane roadway, flanked on each side by a two track railway line and two 10 foot sidewalks."
