A low rent housing project consisting of 1324 dwelling units in 53 buildings (inlcuding a Community Building and Maintenance building) built on 26.7 gross acres. The first tenants moved into the project on October 1, 1941. At the time of completion, the project was owned by the Philadelphia Housing Authority.
