Comments

A low rent housing project consisting of 258 dwelling units in 41 buildings (including Community Building, Power House and Stores) on a 24.5 acre site. Initial occupancy occurred on March 1, 1938; at this time Hill Creek was owned by the Federal Government, built by the Public Works Administration, and leased and operated by the Philadelphia Housing Authority.
