Comments

Before the building at the southeast corner of Broad and Green Streets was completed, the school occupied the old Model School Building on Chester Street in 1853. Due to growing demand, another school called Central High School for Boys was built in 1894 at the southwest corner of Green Street, North Broad Street, 15th Street, and Brandywine Street.
